Post-Processing
Post-processing effects are applied on top of the rendered gradient as a compositing pass. They are non-destructive — adjusting or disabling them never changes the underlying shader output.
Film Grain
Film grain adds a layer of analog noise over the canvas, simulating the texture of photographic film or printed media.
- Intensity — controls how visible the grain is, from imperceptible texture to heavy noise
- Blend Mode — determines how the grain interacts with the gradient beneath it
| Blend Mode | Effect |
|---|---|
| Overlay | Grain lightens highlights and darkens shadows — the most natural film look |
| Screen | Grain only brightens, adding a luminous haze |
| Soft Light | Soft contrast adjustment |
| Color Dodge | Brightens colors |
| Color Burn | Darkens colors |
| Luminosity | Composites grain luminance |
TIP
Grain at 15–25 intensity with Overlay blend gives the gradient a subtle tactile quality that prints especially well.
Border and corner radius
The current Playground has no inner-border or corner-radius controls. PNG, MP4, and standalone HTML do not bake in the preview card's CSS border or corner radius. Add these in your design tool or embedding container if needed.
3D Tilt
Adds a subtle perspective warp to the canvas that responds to mouse movement. As the cursor moves, the gradient tilts along the X and Y axes, creating a parallax depth illusion.
INFO
3D Tilt is a preview-only effect and does not affect PNG or video exports.
